✨Class Highlight: Yoga Nidra ✨
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a meditation practice that involves finding a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It’s said that 1 hour of Yoga Nidra can be as restorative as 4 hours of sleep!
Yoga Nidra has been shown to improve sleep quality, ease headaches and migraines, improve immune function, decrease anxiety and depression, decrease pain, lower blood pressure, regulate hormones, increase cell repair and regeneration, and improve mood, amongst a myriad of other health benefits.
You’ll spend the entire class lying down in a relaxing position, typically on your back supported by blankets, but you are free to remain seated or whatever would make you most comfortable.
